Organized by the Nepal Geological Students’ Society (NGSS), the program was conducted from 22 to 24 February 2026 at the Central Department of Geology. We extend our sincere appreciation to our trainer, Mr. Saroj Shrestha (Engineering Geologist), for his exceptional guidance and insightful instruction on the practical application of AutoCAD in geological mapping. His expertise greatly enriched the learning experience of all participants. We are equally grateful to the Central Department of Geology for generously providing the training venue and for their continued institutional support, which was instrumental in the program’s successful execution. Our heartfelt thanks also go to all participants for their active engagement, dedication, and enthusiasm throughout the training. This initiative reflects NGSS’s commitment to advancing academic excellence, strengthening scientific competence, promoting research culture, and fostering professional development by equipping geology students with essential digital skills relevant to today’s evolving technological landscape. NGSS remains dedicated to organizing similar capacity-building programs in the future and looks forward to continued engagement and collaboration.
